In 2020 we built a beautiful custom home that we thought we would live in forever. After the world changed with the years of COVID, so did we. We wanted cleaner eating, a simpler life, and really go backward in time. Our goals changed from working our government job with a pension to start working for ourselves, homeschooling, living off the land and learning skills. We moved to a small fixer upper farm house where the water freezes if we don't leave the taps on, but it came with more property, a smaller mortgage, and room to grow in hopes to one day build homes for our kids on our property.
