Our thoughts
Somewhere along the way, we traded independence for convenience.
We stopped fixing, growing, building, and figuring things out for ourselves—because it became easier to tap a screen, place an order, or wait for someone else to do it. Convenience saves time, but it also quietly takes something from us: confidence, skill, and self-reliance.
Going back—even a little—to when we did things ourselves can be incredibly beneficial. Cooking from scratch, repairing instead of replacing, learning instead of outsourcing. It reconnects us to patience, problem-solving, and pride in our own abilities.
Progress doesn’t have to mean dependency. Sometimes moving forward starts by looking back.
